OUR STORY
The House of Light
Born from a belief that fragrance is the most intimate form of self-expression, Citrus&Bergamote creates scents that illuminate the wearer's truest self.
Founded on passion
Citrus&Bergamote was founded with a singular vision: to create fragrances that transcend the ordinary. We believe that a great perfume is not merely worn — it is experienced. It has the power to transport you to another place, to evoke a forgotten memory, to make the invisible visible.
Our founder spent over a decade working with the finest perfumers in Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, learning the ancient art of fragrance composition before launching this house. Every bottle we create carries that depth of knowledge and reverence for the craft.
The finest ingredients
We source our raw materials from the most renowned producers across the globe — Bulgarian rose from the Valley of Roses, oud from the ancient forests of Southeast Asia, Calabrian bergamot harvested at the peak of ripeness, and Mysore sandalwood of extraordinary purity.
Each ingredient is selected not merely for its quality, but for its character. We seek materials with stories to tell, with complexities that reveal themselves slowly over hours on the skin, creating fragrances that evolve and surprise throughout the day.
Artistry in every bottle
Our creative process is deliberately unhurried. A single fragrance may take over a year to develop, passing through hundreds of iterations before we arrive at the final composition. We never release a scent until it achieves that rare moment of balance where every note is essential and nothing can be added or removed.
This patience extends to our packaging. Each bottle is designed to be an object of beauty in its own right — minimalist, tactile, and crafted to sit proudly on your vanity for years to come.
Sustainability as standard
We are committed to responsible sourcing and sustainable practices. Our supply chains are transparent, our packaging is recyclable, and we never test on animals. We believe luxury and responsibility are not at odds — they are inseparable. The most beautiful things should also be the most thoughtfully made.
